Accel Coil and 300+ Multi-Spark/Rev Limter installed.
Elec. fan relays installed on the inside of the coil cover and fans wired up with temp sender, alt. re-wired and installed.
Ran into another problem....go freak'n figure.....the alt only runs off the crankshaft pulley. The water pump runs off the crank, PS and AC pulleys. SO this means the alt does not line up.....well after I made some measurements I came up with some bushings I had laying around to get the correct spacing for the alt to line up with water pump and the crank pullies.
Heater core hoses made up and upper/lower rad hoses installed.
Also installed my tach with the shift light built in, Oil Pressure & Temp gauges. So another 11 hour day today and I beat.....
Also got the SVO Master Cyl. bolted back onto the Fairmont power brake booster, installed new front pads.

Holley 3310 is bolted up today, made an ugly throttle cable bracket (it looks like a box that holds elec. outlets) oh well the air cleaner will hide most of it :0)
Installed my re-worked Dura-Spark with the mech. advance moved to the 10L slot and removed the heavy return spring & replaced it with a lighter spring from a Mr.Gasket re-curve kit. Will not be running the vaccum can

I also removed the in-tank pump and made a 5/16" pickup tube.....its crude looking yes but it should work just fine!

10-24-03 IT RUNS!!! YEAH!!!!
Well I got it to fire up tonight!!!! Couldnt run her to long with open headers cause the guy next door to me gets pissed off...
So I'll make some exhaust up for it and see if I cant get that cam broke in.

Exhaust has been made up, I took a 2.5" Off-Road H-Pipe from my collection and made it fit the long tubes. The pass. side was a no brainer....the drivers side took some time to get it all lined up. I have some crappy glass packs on there till I get all the bugs worked out then I'll go with some FlowMasters. Welds are the greatest one's I have ever done but if I cranked my welder up next level it would blow through the steel so had it on the coldest setting but it should be fine.

Lookin like a runining motor now....
Had a slight problem with finding a lead that came on and stayed on with the ing. switch in the start & run modes. So I installed a diode on the starter relay lead and ran the lead to my Accel box, then found another key on lead and ran that to the Accel box. What fun this project has been!

Ok, well my good buddy Darrell P came over today to help me bleed the brakes on the Bird....
Wanting to show off my workmanship, I fired her up.....Darrell says I hear an exhaust leak??? Hummmm I say, he asks did you plug the thermactor injection ports in the heads?
Why I say no I sure didnt....damn it!
Well for my lucky ass, I put the heads on backwards (if you can call it that), so I had exhaust shooting out of the front of both heads via Air Injection ports I prayed that the back of the heads didnt leak, we checked and no they did NOT leak!
YEAH....so I whipped out the mic. and then hit the parts store for some freeze plugs.
FYI the plug that fits is a Dorman Part# 555-090.
Got that all fixed up, brakes done....then backed her outside only to find that my radaitor tank is leaking (swapped in a new 3 core I had) AND my alt. is not putting out.....DAMN IT!
Well anyway, I switched the alt out, still nothing, got the wiring diagrams out....nothing....THEN I remembered....that ing. switch seems kinda funny feeling.
Look at the picture and you'll see why I wasnt getting any juice to the voltage reg.

Air Injection Ports, not EGR....ops

Got the shifter and my fuel pump switch & electric fan switch all hooked up.
